It is with huge sadness that I have to pass on the tragic news that Rachael Schooling passed away on Saturday morning. It is an unbelievable shock for Liam to lose his loving wife, and for Henry and Charlotte to lose their loving and devoted mum.
Rachael has been a very popular character at our club for a number of years, supporting Liam, her children, and others in their cricket, always so friendly and bubbly, often making teas and scoring. In November she joined our Management Committee as club welfare officer and in that short time she already did enough to demonstrate her enthusiasm, skill and understanding for the role.
It is as a dear friend that we will remember Rachael. Great fun; great company. She will be sorely missed.
No doubt you will want to join us in passing our condolences to Liam, Henry and Charlotte. Also, in offering the full support of our club to all of Rachael’s family as they somehow start to come to terms with this awful loss.
