It was a great win for the 1st XI on Sunday gainst a strong Churt side. After the usual captains had to pull out with injury, Graham Jones took care of on-field matters with John Hodgson reduced to a manager role on the sideline.
On Saturday, the 1st XI travelled only a few miles down the road to Herriard. With two good wins under their belt, the King Street side arrived confident and the camp was upbeat.
Having lost in the County Cup final last year, the under 13s have a chance to go one better in 2015 as after a convincing win away to Portsmouth in the semi-final. See scorecard here and match tweets here.
After Portsmouth took 2 wickets in the first 3 overs, Odiham recovered from 10 for 2 to post a substantial 154 in their 20 overs without losing any more wickets. Billy Pocock retired on 33 while both James Passmore and Jontie Sebborn retired on 32. Portsmouth made a decent start, but wickets fell as the rate climbed, and they finished 69 short on 85 for 9. Billy Pocock took 3 for 12 off his 4 overs.
The final is at Hursley on Monday 29th June (6pm start). All supporters welcome.
