You will no doubt be aware of the tragic news regarding the death of Rob Frome.
Rob’s family have advised us that a service to remember and celebrate Rob’s life will be held on 12th October, at All Saints Church, Odiham, 3pm.
The Club's Annual General Meeting will take place on Friday 25 October starting at 7.30 p.m.
Hi everyone. As the cricket season at OGCC comes to an end, we will be reverting to our 'out of season' opening hours at the OGCC Bar.
Today, we learned the awful news about the tragic death of Rob, who died as a result of an accident during a hiking trip in Greece.
This is a huge shock for Odiham and Greywell cricket club. I talk for all of us when I say Rob was a hugely popular character, a gentleman and an excellent cricketer. At this time our thoughts and condolences are with Rob’s family. Odiham and Greywell cricket club will offer them all the support it can.
The Club’s Annual General Meeting will take place on Friday 25 October starting at 7.30 p.m. The official calling notice for the meeting will be sent out later, giving details of the Agenda. For now, and well in advance of the meeting, I wanted to bring to your attention the posts which are likely to be vacant and therefore will need filling. I should add, of course, that all posts on the Management Committee are re-elected each year and may be contested if members wish to do so – the posts below are being mentioned because they will be vacated by those currently holding them and members may wish to consider putting themselves forward.
Odiham Vs Kempton
Sunday, September August the 1st, 2019,
This was a new fixture, and Kempton had only recently started playing on Sundays. Their team had players from all four of their Saturday-teams. They were friendly and had much good banter among themselves. The ground is a little beyond the M25, but easy to get to. The weather was dry, with sunny intervals, but autumnal, with some blown leaves. It was a 40-over game.
